Post Subject: Thank you for the information
Dear JK,
Thank you for the information. I was using the browser. "Internet Explorer". Now, I have checked for the underling of mis-spelt words using the browser "Mozilla Firefox" as suggested by you and found that you are right.

Post Subject: Spell check and grammar mistakes
The best method to avoid mistakes is not to make them in the first instance. Sometimes, we all think faster than we type, and that could lead to grammatical errors. A second round of reading before hitting the POST button, will trap most of such errors.
The red underline will be seen below every mis-spelt word, as and when you type them into the reply box. I can see it in my browser (Mozilla Firefox). If you are not seeing it in yours, perhaps it is not working with your browser.

We know the mistakes in spellings are being underlined by the computer. But the system cannot detect the spelling mistakes. A large number of grammar and spelling mistakes enter in almost all the publications of Rotary printed in very attractive methods. Care to be taken is the main solution to avoid such mistakes.

Post Subject: Spell-check
Dear JK,
Often, the spelling mistakes occur by typographical errors. If the mis-spelt words appears as underlined in red, that is enough. But, presently, I could not see red underlining for the mis-spelt words. Please clarify.

Post Subject: Spell-Check and Grammar correction option
Well, technically speaking, everything is possible.
Theoretically, it may not serve the purpose. Because, a spell-check program, even at this point of time, will only point out mis-spelt words. But, if the writer doesn't know the correct spelling, how will he correct it ? Only inadvertent mistakes can be corrected. By the way, spell-check is already built into this box (mis-spelt words will be underlined in red).
Regarding grammar, we are not anyway close to the technology of spell-checking yet. It has to go a long way to check the grammar.
IMHO, what we will need is an English institute. What do you say ?

Dear JK, Can you introduce the spell-check and Grammar correction option in our district site. Very often, we can see mispelled words in the various postings at our site. By careless typing we are prone to mispell words. It will be very nice to see the postings without spelling as well as grammar mistakes.
