Almost till 2000 I used to have 100percent attendance record and naturally will be visiting rotarian to make up attendance.This has helped me and in my generation to meet and interact with many rotarians from other clubs .With laxity of attendance, i was not able to meet new friends in this decade and not able to com.with old friends and suddenly I find a new avenue to greet every one thanks due to the DISTRICT WEBPAGE Greetings column!! Add to that the reminder we receive from james. Thanks a lot! | |

Dear Rtn Kamal and all,
The feature requested by you, is already built-in.
If you follow the 'All Birthdays and Wedding Anniversaries of the Year' link from the top of Today's Birthdays page, and follow the instructions/links on that screen, you can get the BD/WAs of any day of the year.
However, ready made messages are programmed only for current date. But, by following the 'Email' link on the right extreme of every BD/WA entry, you can send a personal message. After all, when we send belated or advanced greetings, I think the message should be very very personal.

Many times during travel or business and family commitments we miss to open this site, and miss to wish our dear ones. Can we get into say previous day (only) for Birthdays and anniversary's and send a belated wish as well.
If not belated wish at least info of whom all we have missed to wish so that when we meet or we may call and excuse and wish belated. | |

It is quite likely that your posting and my changing the display took place almost at the same time.
I changed the display into a single page as the first step to introduce a feature that would enable members to send the greetings emails without leaving the page. Work is still in progress and will enable the feature when coding is complete.

The list of Birthdays and Wedding Anniversaries for the day is already set to display in a single page for members' convenience.
The list of all Birthdays and Wedding Anniversaries in D3201 cannot displayed in a single page, since there will be more than 10,000 entries.
